Glass aspherical lens for illumination | A986 5015

Lens A986 was designed with diameter of 50 mm, because this diameter has been missing among our portfolio of standard lenses. This lens is designed with a slightly diffused focal point and as a result provides a homogenous illumination. Homogeneity is increased by a use of structure on lens bottom side. The structure is implemented in the tooling and therefore imprints on the lens directly during molding. If you are looking for a lens with same diameter, but higher intensity in the middle of illuminated area, we recommend our A985, which has the same mounting parameters, but was designed with a sharp focal point. Projection of the LED chip is only a little bit diffused thanks to a molded structure on the lens bottom side.
